How To: Turn Your Desktop into a Webpage

this is 1,2,3 step tutorial on how you could turn your desktop into a webpage.. using iframe!


1. Make new text document (right click desktop > new > text document)
2. Paste the following into the notepad and save it as .html file

3. Right Click your desktop > Properties
4. Under Desktop tab, click Customize Desktop...
5. Click 'New' under the 'Web' tab
6. Browse the html file
7. Exit all... hit Apply and OK
8. Tada... maximize the window and your desktop turn to a webpage

note this: the first html code contain script that enable you to go back and forward.. and link you to google.. the second is just the iframe.. AND I am not good in scripting.. You can edit it yourself if there is error in the script.

If you don't want to use this method, you can just enter the URL in the dialog. It will synchronizing first. so you have to wait..

You'll realize that your icon in the desktop have background color.. well, that will return to normal if you disable this setting..
